Vancouver, British Columbia - My English Bay Experience
So somehow I found myself in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Now if you've ever been to Canada, you'll see certain trends among groups of cities. For instance the prairie provinces are all very similiar, and all the Atlantic provinces are very similiar. Now, Vancouver, there is nothing else like Vancouver in Canada. For instance, English Bay. English Bay is located in the vicinity of downtown Vancouver. Normally one would have to drive hours away just to see a beautiful melding of mountain, rivers, and yes even a beach. What makes English Bay even more incredible, is that it is home to numerous high rise condos. This is definitely a site to see. State of the art architecture mixed with the best that nature has to offer. English Bay is located west of downtown Vancouver. Beaches which surround the bay include Sunset Beach, Second Beach, Third Beach, Kitsilano Beach, Jericho Beach, the Spanish Banks beaches, and Locarno Beach
English Bay is also host to numerous annual cultural events. The HSBC Celebration of Light is held every summer, while Vancouvers' annual Polar Bear Swim is held every winter at English Bay. The Vancouver Pride Parade and Festival is also held in the downtown area just off the banks of English Bay.
This mix of urban beauty and nature is what makes this area so unique. There is definitely nothing else like this in Canada. English Bay is one of the reasons Vancouver was rated one of the best cities in the world to live in.

Where is a place in Honolulu, Hawaii with English style horseback riding on the beach?
I would also like to know other fun activities to do there, I will be there for a few days and am also interested in snorkeling and cave exploring. No outdoor hiking
