Sea Salt for Colon Health
There is no answer as to how does sea salt cleanse the colon?
Ancient Egyptians used sea salt for colon cleanasing but had no idea why it worked. We still do not have a clue.
There is no one colon detoxification method that is more effective than another. It is a matter of luck to find the right product that works for you.
You know that a colon which does not function properly leads to constipation, fatigue and bloating. Just like your car engine it requires a tune up once in a while. How you perform your tune up is a matter of choice. You try different options untill you find one that works for you.
Salt is a necessary nutrient required by the body to perform. It maintains proper water balance and blood pH levels. Health officials warn against using excessive amounts.
Salt water conains 92 essential minerals and nutrients that are found in the human body. The major ones are: chloride, sodium, sulfur, magnesium, potassium, calcium, silicon, carbon and aluminum. Each mineral has a positive effect on your body. It should stand to reason that the natural ingredients in sea salt may be beneficial to colon health.
If you are going to use sea salt, make sure that it is harvested naturally and that no chemicals are added. The best sea salt is salt from the celtic sea. It is harvested off the shores of France. It is expensive and hard to find.
Your body gets abuse from all the refined and processed foods that you eat. Over time this damages your colon.
Colon cleansing with sea salt by itself is of no benefit to long term colon health. It provides a band aid to your current situation.
You need to have a healthy diet composed of fruits, vegetables and grain. You need to drink 8 glasses of water a day. Respect your body and do not abuse it.
