how can I remove regular ball pen from a gouache painting?

I have a painting, but a little kid draw something on the gouache painting.I tried a cotton with alcohol, but it started to melt down the paint, leaving the pen untouched. what can you suggest me? thank you for assistance in this matter

Er... I think you might have to try painting over it. I's really hard to think of a way to get rid of it since gouache breaks down very easily no matter what you do to it.
