Removing Dog Urine Stains - Cleaning Up After Your Pet!

You will agree with me that the only annoying thing about your cute dog is the way it urinates all over the house without restriction. This is the part of owning a dog that we all refrain from.

The fact is that through training many dogs are now able to communicate to their owners whenever they need to ease themselves.Through good training a dog can always let the owner know when it wants to urinate or even stool; in thatcase he will be taken out to express itself accordingly. But, there are times when the dog will just mess up the whole house, leaving it smelling and stained, in such cases you will really need a helping hand to clean up the mess without leaving the stains out. Yes, there is a need to get rid of all those stains from your dog's urine, if not with time your whole interior decorations will be redecorated by the awful stains from your dog.

If you find yourself in a situation where your favorite pet has done the most annoying thing. It has designed your rug, or couch with a new design, in this case you will have to act fast, you really won't like the idea of hosting a guest inside the mess created by the dog and more so, the bad odour of the urine is disgusting. The first thing to do if the dog urinates on teh rug or on the sofa, dry up the spot by using a clean cloth to press against the soaked surface, this will absorb all the liquid and leave it dry.

You should not stop there, go ahead to wash the stained spot by the use of a detergent and other cleaning agents. An example is the use of peroxide with luke warm or even cold water to clean up the stain and the urine. Because of the presence of the peroxide in the cleaning mixture, every stain will be dealt with and even the smell of the urine will not be perceived any longer. You can also try using a sink dishwashing fluid, mixing it with water, this will clean the urine, removing every stain too.

If there are long lasting urine stains in your house, that is, let's say that the dog messed up the living room with its urine and it was left unattended to. In that case, the urine will dry and terrible stains will be left on the rug, sofa or couch, whereever the event took place. If the above is the case, you will need to attack this long lasting stains with serious stain removing methods. In this case, you will need to use strong cleaners like spot shot; this will help you erase the strong stains. The type os stain always determines the type of cleaning agent to be used. If the stains are weak, then any soft stain cleaner can go, but if you've got strong stains, only the strong, rugged stain removers can handle tough stains like this.

The spot shot cleaning agent will work well on dog urine stains that have lated fro a while. All you neeed to do is to dilute it in cold or warm water and put it on the spot, scrubbing it gently to avoid harming the material of the rug, couch or any house furniture. With a little scrubbing, you will discover that the stains are gone. If the dog urinated on materials that can be washed like a towel or small rugs; then all you will need to do will be to wash these materials in washing machine all by it self and the stains will come out easily.

Wool is difficult to clean & if it's not done right you could ruin it.
I would call a professional carpet cleaner & have them clean it
